Starting therapy is a brave and often intimidating step, but it's also an empowering move toward understanding yourself more deeply. Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, self-critical, burned out, anxious, or disconnected in relationships, therapy is a space where your voice can be heard.  In therapy we will explore ways to make sense of your feelings, recognize your inner strengths, and cultivate self-compassion. I believe that the tools for healing are already within you, even if they feel hidden or out of reach. Together, we’ll explore what’s beneath the surface, untangle the stories that no longer serve you, and discover new ways to navigate life’s challenges.

My approach to therapy

I work with teens 16+, adults, and couples, both in person and virtually. My therapeutic approach is compassionate, direct, and collaborative. Together we will create a safe, non-judgmental space where you can express yourself freely and authentically. Clients who work well with me appreciate directness, are curious, and are open to exploring their inner world, emotions, and values.

While I adapt my approach depending on what works best for you, specific modalities I draw from include:

  • Trauma-focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT)

  • Emotion-Focused Therapy

  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy

  • Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy

  • Existential Therapy

  • Solution Focused Therapy

On a personal note, I enjoy cycling, lifting weights, cooking and baking, traveling, and spending as much time with my dog, Frøya.
